Varun Gandhi and Thakres

I strongly condemn Bal Thakre for his remarks given against Salman Khan in his mouthorgan newspaper through which he use to play his hate speech. Every Indian barring a few hundred gang men (I will not say party men) of Thakres (both Raj and Bal) will firmly condemn statement given by Mr Raut, spokesmen of Mr. Bal Thakre that he as desired by his mentor Bal Thakre, cannot allow Khan to invite Pakistani player to play cricket in Mumbai, that Khan should go to Karachi or Islamabad for living he has so much love for Pakistani players.. Thakre’s gang men passed dirty remarks against Shahrukh Khan‘s newly produced and acted film “My name is Khan”.

Shiv Sena Sainiks created ugly scene in Mumbai by tearing out posters of Khan’s film and causing loss to public property at some places. All these happened before camera of media. It was well exposed on almost all TV channels. There is no doubt in it that both. Thakres have crossed limit in their hate speech, not once or two or three but on several times in the past. Police remained silent spectator of all these ugly events.

Hate speech Master Mr. Bal Thakre or Mr Raj Thakre are two sides of the same coin. They passed condemnable remarks against North Indians on so many occasions in the past. They did not spare even great industrialist Mr. Mukesh Ambani, great cricketer Mr. Sachin Tendulkar and great Film star Mr. Abhitabh Bachhan. Who are reputed and respected not only in India but in the entire world. Thakres named above did not spare even unskilled workers like coolies, taxi drivers, student and road side workers who are from other states and working in Mumbai or in Maharashtra

Their remarks against Khan or any Indian who hail from other states or who do not know Marathi are absolutely bad and very much irritating against any Indian and undoubtedly promote hatred ness in entire Muslim community not only in Pakistan but also in India and elsewhere in the world too. Their remarks have annoyed North Indian living in not only in Mumbai or Maharashtra but also all who lives outside Maharashtra.

Such type of condemnable speech and bad behavior of Thakres have created fear among all servicemen, businessmen, professionals, film makers, industrialist and traders of Maharashtra. Thakres have badly polluted business environment and adversely affected social harmony. Thakres have endangered unity and integrity of the country, federal structure provided in Indian Constitution has faced brutal attack by these Thakres.
Every non Marathi will fear in going to Mumbai and a day will come when Marathis will be beaten and abused if found outside Maharashtra.

India is crying for Indians being attacked In Australia. Indian government has in the recent past advised students to avoid Australia in view of continuing racial attacks on Indians in Australia. Such advice by government of India is acceptable to some extent. But it is painful that now Indians are being attacked in India by Indians and out central government is silent spectator of what have been repeatedly happening for last several years. Indians will perhaps not digest and never like if the same government at Delhi advises Non- Marathis to keep away from Mumbai and the state of Maharastra only because of terror created by Thakre’s hooliganism. UPA must make it stand clear before it is too late.

When Varun‘s tongue slipped during his election speech in UP last year , the chief Minister of UP Ms Mayawati booked Varun
Gandhi under National Security Act (NSA) .. Central government indirectly supported her act because Varun Gandhi belonged to Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). Mr. Rahul Gandhi and Ms Sonia Gandhi extended their veiled support to UP government in keeping Varun in jail without proving any charge and that too under NSA which is meant for using against anti national elements. Almost every party condemned Varun and his party BJP for his so called hate speech.

I am unable to understand why Mumbai police and Maharashtra state government is not arresting Mr. Bal Thakre or Mr. Raj Thakre or anyone who misuse the freedom of speech granted under Democracy, who is dividing Indians and creating hatredness, disturbing social peace, whose speech is against the spirit of the democracy or who is posing threat to business climate and economic health of not only Maharashtra but also entire nation.

Police of Maharastra says that they will not hesitate to take action against those who acts against the established law. I would like to ask Mumbai police whether the acts of Shiv Sainiks shown on TV is lawful and whether the hate speech of Mr. Bal Thakre published in the newspaper is good for peace living Indians. I am unable to understand why and how long these lame excuses of police officials should be tolerated by Maharashtra government and common Indians.

Are police officers not forcing civilian to take laws in to their hands to punished extremists like Bal or Raj Thakre. I will be fully justified n saying that there is full support of Maharastra government to police officials and it is they who advise police community not to take action against above Thakre and his associates because it ultimately helps Congress Party to create their vote bank and divide the vote banks of other parties like Shiv Sena and BJP. Obviously Congress Party has vested interest in promoting the hate culture and it is Congress party which is dividing the nation on the ground of caste or region or religion and putting blame tactfully on other National Parties in the name of secularism. Congress Party is in fact creating another Bhinderwale in Maharastra for self interest and there is no doubt that the party will lose its image in Maharastra as it faced erosion in the sate of Punjab.

I however do not hesitate in condemning Prime Minister Mr. Manmohan Singh; the head of the country for being silent spectator of open rape of democracy in the hands of Thakres and their gangsters.Inidans want to see his effectiveness. Indians dreamed of good governance in the hands of Man Mohan Singh. But unfortunately all dreams have been shattered by Mr. Manmohan Singh. His simplicity will prove very mush costly for the country. If he continues to allow anarchy to grow in the fashion it is growing in Maharashtra and spreading in other parts of the country slowly but steadily like cancer of corruption or naxalism or terrorism , I have no doubt that Man Mohan Singh is facing erosion in his respectability in the country. There is no hesitation to me in requesting voters of Maharastra to teach a lesson to Congress Party and Shiv Sena in the next election.. I do not hesitate in blaming BJP too who is associated with party like Shiv Sena for the sake of political survival in the state of Maharashtra.

As of now people are so much annoyed with Mr. Thakre (I am fully confident) that any individual or any political party which take initiative to isolate and penalize Shiv Sena will be praised by Indians all over the country. Political party breaking relation with Shiv Sena at this stage will gain political advantage instead of loosing.

Which department is working seriously and honestly

An open letter to RBI/ Finance Minister/ banking Division Government of India

Are you really worried about health of Banks in India?

Are you really interested to increase lending in rural sector and achieve social inclusion?

If yes,

you should appoint at least 100 teams of honest and sincere auditors, each team comprising of at least three to four people and give them time of at least ten days to audit a branch from all angle of consideration and ensure that they submit detailed report within ten days.

Such report then should be further analysed and stern action should be taken against erring officials, he may be Branch Manager or Regional Head or General Manager or CEO of the Bank.

Audit not for the sake of Audit should be the target.

How deposits are mobilized,
How advances are sanctioned,
How much of advances are real NPA,
How much is really declared NPA,
How much is written off,
How much waiver took place,
Who are responsible for bad advances for last ten years?
Who did not make any follow up?
Who got promotion only by flattery?
Who worked hard and who looted the Branch,
Who performed honestly?
Who indulged in reckless financing?
Who got adequate manpower at branch?
Which branch is working under acute manpower shortage, whether regional head is promoting corrupt practices?
Whether GM is corrupt?
Whether rural posting is used for increasing rural lending
or punishing a non-flatter officer and so on ………..

You may start your investigation from the state of Jharkhand, Bihar, UP …..
You may select five top banks and ten branches from each Bank and complete this task within three months to know the reality of banks.
Are banks in India suffering from more dangerous crisis than sub prime crisis of USA?
Are CAs giving true certificate?
Are audit reports submitted by various internal auditors duly taken care of and erring officials are punished and kept away from promotion and from sensitive posting?
Have RBI auditors portrayed true picture in the past?

You may start with State Bank or Bank of India or Union Bank

Judical reforms only talked about

Would prosecuting and punishing persons for perjury (false evidence) improve our legal system? Many similar questions pertaining to Indian courts arise in the minds of aggrieved person in the country, but he finds no solution other than bearing with injustice.

Judicial reformation has not taken place during last six decades despite several promises made by prominent leaders. At least during last ten fifteen years many stalwarts like Mr. Mr. Advani, Arun Jaitley of BJP, Manmohan Singh, Mr. Bhardwaj law Minister, Mr. Singhwi of Congress Party or Mr. Somnath Chatterjee of CPM or Lalu Yadav of RJD and even retired judges and Chief Justice of India have expressed the need of judicial reform in the country but all failed to make it a reality.

Judicial reforms include many ideas like Prosecuting and punishing persons for perjury or providing protection to witness exposing the truth, eliminating the chance of backtracking by a witness from written or oral evidences given by him in any court, punishing false complainers, expediting court proceedings to ensure time bound delivery of justice , punishing judges who give adjournment after adjournment to give comfort to one party or the other after taking bribe, making advocates accountable and punishable and so on ...

If above mentioned ideas and many other similar contemplated amendments are made and executed honestly; it will be complete change the picture in Indian courts and police stations. But unfortunately no concrete steps have so far been taken. Only task force committees are formed, reports are submitted, debates take place and finally the issue of judicial reformation and promise of shortening delay in justice are kept in abeyance.

This is why crime graph of India is increasing day by day, year after year. This is also a bitter truth and open secret that police do not register FIR in Thana only to show false and fabricated improvement in crime situation of an area. This is the primary reason that Bhopal Gas case , Bofors case, Telgi stamp scam, Arushi Murrder case, Ruchika suicide case ,Babri demolition or Godhra Hatyaknad case or 1984 sick riot cases , Lalu’s chara Ghotala case and many more similar but important cases have been pending in Indian courts for two decades and more.

If by any legal amendments our country is able to create fear in the minds of wrong doers I think there will be complete turnaround in law and order position of the country and there will be definite reduction in the acts of Naxal oriented extremism or foreign based terrorism. It is pity that in our country criminal are not afraid of legal system; it is only innocents who avoid going in courts or police stations to lodge their grievances in fear of repercussions.

Trade Union leaders in Bank should be changed

It is always advisable that office bearers of an organization are changed periodically in a democratic system. At least there should be change of person every two or three years for the post of Secretary and the President in the same way as Branch head or Regional head or Zonal head or CEO of a bank is changed every two – three years.

In a democratic country like India every political parties have been changing their Presidents periodically. Prominent Communist parties change their party president every two years. Banking Industry has inherited communist culture, but it is disheartening to mention here that staff unions and associations in these banks are dependent on a few leaders who have been occupying top posts for decades. Political parties, trust or an organization or Bank union or association of officers who consider any person indispensable on top posts are really too weak to survive for long and undoubtedly prone to corrupt practices. These organizations in fact have not developed second line of management.

Even a financial Institute cannot prosper with quality and remain in good health if the persons posted at responsible and sensitive posts are not altered periodically. Whereever the same person hold sensitive posts in a bank for a longer period it is found that the bank's intrinsic value and overall quality of its assets suffers continuous erosion and the disease of corruption spread like cancer in the system. It is such organization where whimsical promotions and whimsical posting takes place.

It is these organizations where good persons are shunted away and bad persons are promoted and placed at cream posts so that the corrupt lobby is not questioned by anyone. It is under such bad administration that person like Rathore goes on getting promotion and respectable posting whereas on the other persons like Ruchika are forced to bear with injustice meted out to them. By the time realities of corrupt person get exposed by grace of God, it is too late. Justice delayed is justice denied. There are many Rathore like executives in banking Industry too who have been getting uninterrupted promotions and getting one after other elevation in their career (at the cost of good performers) despite the fact that there were indulged in corrupt practices and they caused huge loss to banks.

Keeping in view above-mentioned bitter truth of the organization I demand those office bearers of officers association as also employees unions in all banks must be changed every two - three years. If Bank employees fail to ensure this healthy culture, perpetuation of injustice cannot be stopped and frustration among good workers will continue to rise ultimately jeopardizing the health of the bank.

I hope sensible, experienced, educated and prudent class of officers will apply their wisdom and take all possible steps to stop monopoly and dictatorial attitude of certain office bearers who have in course of time become indispensable and who are eating away fruits of hard labour done by real workers. Second line of leadership must be developed in all organization for achieving sustainable quality growth of not only assets but also that of human capital.

RBI is calling money lenders to set up banks

RBI's idea of allowing private companies to set up local banks will prove to be a blunder and lead the country back to pre nationalization era.. Already thousands of Non Banking Finance Companies (NBFC) are scattered all over the country like post offices and they are almost beyond the control of RBI and Government of India. Every year we come to know ten or fifteen NBFC promoters have closed their office and flied away from town after cheating crores of money from innocent small villagers , traders and farmers by promising them to double their money in two or three years. Similarly cooperative banks and many regional rural banks in the country are mostly running mismanaged and their assets shown in Balance sheets are mostly irrecoverable.

If small private banks are set up in all small villages, towns and cities, more and more people will be cheated, lending will be done after keeping gold as done before nationalization of banks or credit will be disbursed only after mortgaging landed properties of farmers. Same Zamindari system and exploitation of poor by money lenders in disguise of local banks will come in operation and become the way of life as was prevalent before Nationalization of banks and before freedom of India. It is not exaggeration to say that even now small traders and farmers have to depend on local money lenders and it is also an open secret that these money lenders are charging huge interest and exploiting their poverty.

When RBI is unable to control less than thirty Public sector banks and thousands of NBFC, regional rural banks and cooperative banks already in operation and doing the same job, how can RBI imagine of controlling of additional numerous private banks. If the monitoring is not possible, allowing private companies to set up local banks will prove fatal and make the life of local poor residents more miserbale.Through this new concept of local banks RBI will do nothing but add fuel to fire. Government banks are already in mess and there is no doubt in it. Even farmers and small traders cannot dream of any relief from such local banks for whom Local banks contemplated by RBI will be set up by private companies.

It is to be kept in mind that government can waive loans disbursed by government banks, but cannot force private companies to waive agricultural loan or small loans. Obviously private companies will hold full securities and charge maximum interest from needy person and extort more and more profit as private airlines are looting air passengers keeping in mind the necessity and urgency of passenger. As such, the said idea of local banks contemplated by RBI in not going to help poverty ridden person in any way. Government is indirectly attempting to discard agenda of social inclusion and leave poor person on the mercy of local goondas and local money lenders in disguise of local banks.

Every one knows that private banks cannot allow their assets to become NPA (Non Performing Assets) and cannot depend on the current legal framework and ineffective judicial remedy for willful defaulters. They may also seek the help of recovery agents to apply force on defaulters which government cannot manage to support in our country and which was vehemently opposed by RBI itself in the recent past when private banks like ICICI or HDFC used local goondas to recover their money.

Moreover setting up of lacs of local banks as visualized by RBI and promoted by private companies is against the very concept and plan of Government of India directed towards consolidation of existing banks. It is ironical that on the one hand existing banks are advised by Finance Minister to go for merger and acquisition to reduce the number of banks and on the other RBI is advising private companies to set up local banks. There is no doubt that Government of India must ponder over the idea of RBI , invite opinion from experts and seek opinion of various political parties before putting the said dangerous idea in action.

Bank employees should raise voice against whimsical transfers and injustice in Promotions

• Why officers and employees are not transferred out from the Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai etc. and on the contrary employees of states like Orrisa, Bihar, and Jharkhand are frequently transferred out of their states even violating transfer policies?

• Why some officers are always given rural posting whereas some other officers are even promoted without rural posting violating government guidelines in this regard?

• Why some officers are allowed to work in their Metro towns for decades whereas officers of other small towns and villages are to change their place of working every year or alternate year without any incentive or compensation?

• Is there no punishment for those executives who indulge in corrupt practices and resort to whimsical transfers to keep away all employees who may prove hurdle in their money making process?

• Why RBI remains silent spectator of ill-motivated CEOs of banks and allows the malady in banks to accumulate?

• It is worthwhile to mention here that unhappy lot of employees cannot think for and make efforts to keep bank healthy?

• Is human resource not capital in real sense in Banking Industry and for some VIP CEOs of Bank?
